SIBILA BILINGUE

SIBILA BILINGUE is an exciting combination between orchestral music and the music from several migrants who reside in Porto. Through this simbioses, with compositions and musical direction by José Valente, SIBILA BILINGUE is a unique musical performance of the multicultural essence of Porto.

TRÉGUA

TRÉGUA is the first ever album for viola and marching band. With original compositions by José Valente, the violist was also music director and soloist in this album. A project made together with the Orquestra Filarmónica Gafanhense conducted by renowned saxophonist Henrique Portovedo.

Águas paradas não movem moinhos

6 VIOLAS is a Portuguese viola sextet, led by José Valente. The ensemble's first album is Águas paradas não movem moinhos, and it is an homage to legendary revolution's singer José Mário Branco.

PULSO

PuLsO is a voice, viola and electronics duo that creates new poetic and music perspectives through an original takeover on a very old tradition (poetry + music = song). That's why PuLsO signifies the new Portuguese poemusic.
